Wander through the narrow, winding streets that adapt to the rugged landscape, with famous reddish buildings and timber-framed homes adding to its charm. Don’t miss the Albarracín Castle or Citadel and the town’s striking walls that once served as a formidable defense. Day 2: Rubielos de Mora


Distance: 60 km south from Albarracin.


Next, head to Rubielos de Mora, a village known for its rich architectural heritage. This village flourished in the 16th and 17th centuries and is sometimes referred to as the "Court of the Sierra" due to its many aristocratic homes. Visit the Ex-Colegiata Santa María la Mayor, where you can admire an exquisite Gothic altarpiece. The Renaissance-style Town Hall is another must-see. Day 3: Mora de Rubielos

Just a short drive from Rubielos de Mora, you’ll find Mora de Rubielos - yes, they are two different villages - , a town dominated by its impressive medieval castle. The views from the castle are stunning, with the surrounding countryside laid out before you. Be sure to explore the town’s old quarter (Ayuntamiento de Mora de Rubielos, where the charming streets, lined with stone buildings, make for a peaceful afternoon stroll.

Day 4: Puertomingalvo
