Hi Girl! I've been using this moisturizer for a while now, and it has become my go-to for hydration.
Its watery gel texture absorbs effortlessly into my skin, leaving it feeling refreshed without any greasy residue.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturizer
This has been my go-to for quite some time. The gel-like texture is incredibly hydrating and absorbs quickly without any sticky residue, which is perfect for my oily skin. It makes my skin feel plump and comfortable. However, the fragrance is a bit overpowering, almost like a strong, soapy cologne. I’ve considered not repurchasing, but I might just go back to it if I can’t find a suitable alternative.
La Roche-Posay Double Repair Matte Moisturizer
This one has a lightweight gel-cream texture and doesn’t have any fragrance, which is a big plus for me. It blends smoothly into the skin and gives a matte finish, making it seem ideal for the summer. However, as fall approaches, I find it a bit too lightweight, and my skin feels a bit dehydrated during the day. Also, when I layer heavier skincare on top, it tends to pill, which is a bit frustrating.
Overall, both moisturizers have their strengths, but I’m still on the hunt for that perfect balance between hydration and matte finish!
