2. Take a bus from El Calafate to El Chaltén. The journey takes about 3 hours. Book tickets in advance from companies like Chaltén Travel or Taqsa.


3. Once in El Chaltén, choose one of the hiking trails that lead to Monte Fitz Roy. El Chaltén is the starting point for several trails that guide you to the peak.
