Skiing is a competitive sport in which athletes put skis on the soles of their boots to perform speed, jumps, and slides on the snow.

The body is exercised under aerobic metabolic conditions when skiing, which promotes the growth and development of young people and is also beneficial to the physical fitness of adults.

If you want to go skiing, you should know these basics! Skiing is an exciting ice sport, divided into single-board and double-board. These two types of skis are used in completely different ways, so it is important to choose the right ski for you.

Once you have put on the double board, it is easy to stand up, and with a little practice, you can glide.

On the other hand, snowboarding is different. It can be a bit of a challenge to stand and slide after putting on the snowboard, so it's a little harder to get started on a snowboard than a twin board. However, once you get started, you can progress faster and have more fun than on a twin board.

The threshold for starting snowboarding is relatively low; after putting on the snowboard, it will feel like wearing two very large-size shoes, and standing is no problem. From basic snow walking, plough style to parallel style, and fancy tricks, it takes a long time and constant practice to stabilize. Compared to the traditional feeling of double boarding, snowboarding belongs to the category of extreme sports.

Snowboarding is also different from double-boarding, it is firmly fixed on the board, the body weight to control the board skating, even after the fall of the board and the feet can not be separated, which adds to its danger, and also brings more excitement to enthusiasts.

If you are just a beginner, or just want to experience the fun of skiing in winter, then it is still recommended to choose double-board skiing!

If you have some skiing foundation or want to challenge the excitement and limit, you can try to choose snowboarding.

Equipment list

1. Snowboard: In general, we should choose the height minus 5~15cm of the length of the ski. Beginners choose shorter, shorter skis that are more flexible and easier to control; and the longer the snowboard, the faster the speed.

2. Snow poles: (only double board needed) hold the poles stand, a small arm perpendicular to the body, the arm is "L" shape for the best.

3. bindings: the role bindings are used for snowshoe and snowboard connection.

4. Helmet: Skiers must bring a helmet, choose a professional ski helmet, wear it and not let it be too tight or too loose.

5. Ski boots: must be compact, do not let the feet in the boots inside the space move.

6. Snow goggles: mainly used to protect the eyes from reflective stimulation, find one that you like.

In short, if you plan to go skiing, please be well prepared.
